Scheduler DB connection

HI, I am trying to get all the jobs history information, so that I can analyze the scheduling times, failures and then reschedule them to minize the failures. Also, to perform other type of analysis. For that, I need to get list of all jobs(with history of their run times) , project details and so on. I tried to connect to Scheduler DB(via JDBC datasource connection) to pull the info directly. But its throwing me scedulerDB not found error. May I know, if there are any other options to pull the required info. Thanks.

Hi, “Scheduler Client API” feature of the Scheduler server allows to see the list of jobs, start/stop jobs, manage permissions, etc. For example, I would use “JobData:getJobsInformation” API to get job list with information on its state and “JobReport:getJobsReport” API to see job’s execution reports. [Scheduler Client API](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/scheduler/administration/developer_api/scheduler_client_api/scheduler_client_api) user manual section of the Scheduler Administration Guide has the list of available API’s and its functionality for reference. By default access to the embedded scheduler server db is restricted. If I have limitations with the above mentioned API option, I would configure the scheduler server to use an external RDBMS instead of Embedded Derby database and would access the backend tables via JDBC to get the same information. [Database-Settings](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/scheduler/administration/administration/server_configuration/server_configuration_sections#database-settings) section of the Scheduler Administration Guide User Manual has the detailed steps to be followed for the database setup. Hope this helps!
