If you are looking to connect to Snowflake’s REST API, which sends and receives data in JSON format, you can use JSON Data source to connect to Snowflake’s REST endpoint.
You need to set Data Route as HTTP Client and choose appropriate HTTP Method once you click on ‘Configure’. You can refer to [JSON Sources](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/json_sources/json_sources) to understand how to configure this.
There is one more option that you can explore, which is to insert or update the source through web services published using views.
If you have already configured a Snowflake Database and have a view created, which you would like to publish as a REST Web Service, you can use POST or PUT operation in your client side, when you send a request to the published web service. You can refer to [IDU Requests]( https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/restful_architecture/restful_web_service/idu_requests) for some examples of how to access published web services for Insert and Update requests.
Hoe this helps!
