Hi, In that specific case you could use a combination of the functions formatdate and to_date. You can first use the formatdate function to get a string of a date value with the specified pattern and then use the to_date function to convert it back to a date type. You will find the syntax and an overview about these two functions in the article [Date Processing Functions ](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/6.0/vdp/vql/appendix/syntax_of_condition_functions/date_processing_functions#date-processing-functions) from the documentation and you will find more information about the date patterns in the article [Date and Time Pattern Strings](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/6.0/vdp/vql/appendix/date_and_time_pattern_strings/date_and_time_pattern_strings#date-and-time-pattern-strings). Hope this helps!
