Start and End Cell Behavior in DenExp 7.0

Hi Team, Denodo 7.0 Express MS Excel 2010 Format .xlsx Id Name Age City 1 ABC London 2 PQR 20 Sydney 3 LMN 30 Munich 4 XYZ 40 Paris If I chose Start Cell as B1 and End Cell as D4. I get below result: Name Age ABC PQR 20 LMN 30 XYZ 40 Why is city column getting omitted from result set. Is null at C1 the reason ? If I chose Start Cell as B2 and End Cell as D4. I get below result: ABC Id_1 Id_2 PQR 20 Sydney LMN 30 Munich XYZ 40 Paris Thanks.

Hello! In my Denodo Platform Express 7.0 I did not come across this type of situation. I have created a Excel file with same data as the question, I created a Base view on Denodo using an Excel Datasource. I enabled the “Stream Tuples”, “Has Headers”, also I used B1 as start cell and D4 as end cell. When I executed the base view, I was able to get the results with “City” column as well. Reading the [Excel Sources]( of Virtual DataPort Administration Guide helped me understand the usage of Excel data sources. Hope this helps!
