How to get Swagger specification for a published REST Web Service (Denodo 6.0)

Hi all! I need to get the Swagger specification for a published REST web service in JSON or YAML format. Denodo version is 6.0. I found this article: (https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/restful_architecture/restful_web_service/restful_web_service) 1) Am I correct to assume that I should get the specification by appending /OpenAPI/swagger.json to the REST's URL? I.e. by using http://localhost:9090/denodo-restfulws/admin/views/customer/OpenAPI/swagger.json? 2) The article states that this specification is only available for REST web services, not RESTful web services. When I view the Web Services Container, I see "REST" as the Type for the web service I need the specification for, so this should be in order. Br, Juho

Hi, Starting from Denodo Platform 7.0, Swagger Specification for REST Web Services has been added as a [New Feature (Web Service)](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/platform/new_features/new_features_virtual_dataport#web-services). In order to get Swagger Specification for a published web service, I would use Denodo Platform 7.0. Regarding your queries: 1) While deploying the Web Service, /OpenAPI/swagger.json or /OpenAPI/swagger.yaml will be appended and will be available in the Summary Tab of the Web Service. 2) Swagger Specifications is only available for REST web services, not the RESTful web service For more details, refer [OpenAPI/Swagger](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/publication_of_web_services/publishing_rest_web_services/settings_tab_rest#openapi-swagger) section under the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide. Hope this helps!

Hi, and thank you for your response. Could you provide a picture of step 1, i.e. how the json or yaml is shown under the Summary Tab of the Web Service? Br, Juho

Hi, Once the REST Web Service is deployed using Denodo Platform 7.0, the links for JSON and YAML will be available in the Summary Tab. By clicking on the link, I will get the corresponding specifications in a Web Browser. In order to use this feature, I would suggest you to use Denodo Platform 7.0 as this feature has been introduced only in this version. Hope this helps!
