Both Denodo Virtual Dataport 6.0 and 7.0 can connect to Microsoft SQL Server 2017 through JDBC. I would use the Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (MS Driver) adapter to connect to Microsoft SQL Server 2017, There are no known limitations on using the 2016 adapter for 2017 version and there should not be any appreciable difference introduced by the adapter.
Same is applicable for the JTDS driver as well.
Future releases of Denodo Virtual DataPort may introduce a separate adapter for SQL Server 2017.
For information about data sources supported by Denodo that are available through using JDBC driver please refer to the section [Supported JDBC Data Sources](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/appendix/supported_jdbc_data_sources/supported_jdbc_data_sources#supported-jdbc-data-sources) of the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide.
Hope this helps!
