Change the delimiter in Denodo VDP-Queries logs

Hello, We are working on reporting the Queries used by the users. We have edited the Logj4.xml file to get the queries logged into VDP-Queries.log file. But the rows are being delimited by tabs. Can you please help us in what we need to change in the PatternLayout pattern in the xml file so that we can use a different delimiter. I hope we have to change something in the below code but not exactly sure on what needs to be changed <PatternLayout pattern="%-4r [%t] %d{yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSS} %x -\t%m %n" />

Hi, The data written in the log files is based on how the regex expression is defined in the PatternLayout in log4j.xml. For the pattern defined in the vdp-queries.log, if you want to change the tab delimiter you can replace the “\t” to a different delimiter based on your need. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response, I used this pattern but this changed only the 1st delimiter to ^ and the rest all with tab <PatternLayout pattern="%-4r [%t] %d{yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSS} %x -^%m %n" /> This is one of the row generated with the above pattern. A caret symbol before 10 was added when the pattern was changed from \t to ^. 36269 [RMI(9)-10.225.139.156-16] 2020-08-12T11:24:15.082 [] -^10 connectivity BABUG endRequest 16 20200812112414395 20200812112415082 687 0 null OK null null DESC DATABASE connectivity VERSION 1 1 - - - - - - - - - DESC - Denodo-VDP-AdminTool VDP-AdminTool 10.225.139.156 -
