Why Dropped objects are also exported?

I used right click one Denodo folder (there are some views under this folder), click "export", and in the prompt window, I define a Output File, choose "Replace existing elements", and I can export this folder and the views within it to my local path, but I found some objects that I dropped before are in the exported vql, can I understand why, and how can I not include the already dropped objects in the exported folder vql? Thanks.

Hi, I am able to export the metadata folder successfully by following the steps given in the documentation [Export the server metadata](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/exporting_and_importing_the_server_metadata/exporting_the_server_metadata/exporting_the_server_metadata) section of the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide. Also I am able to see only the elements that are available in the folder and deleted elements are part of the export. Suppose if I face the similar issues that you are experiencing the I would follow the below steps. 1. Restart the VDP server and start the VDP services with admin privileges. 1. Login the VDP with the admin user and try exporting the folder graphically. 1. If I am using VCS into the virtual database, then I will make sure to check in all the local changes into the VCS repository before exporting the metadata. Also, I would try other methods to export the metadata of the folder. 1.
