Hi, For this scenario, if you are installing the Denodo Platform on an operating system that is not Windows nor Linux, you need to install a JRE compatible with this operating system. The Java Runtime Environments (JRE) supported are: * Java Runtime Environment version 11 of Oracle * [AdoptOpenJDK](https://adoptopenjdk.net/about.html) version OpenJDK 11. AdoptOpenJDK provides reliable OpenJDK binaries for all platforms. You could also refer to the section [Supported Java Runtime Environments (JRE)](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/platform/installation/appendix/supported_java_runtime_environments/supported_java_runtime_environments) of Supported Java Runtime Environments (JRE) of Denodo Platform Installation Guide for more information. Additionally, if you still need help and if you are a valid Support User, you may open a **Support Case** at the [Denodo Support Site](https://support.denodo.com/) and the Support Team will help you. Hope this helps!

I'm facing the same issue with denodo express 8.0. Neither using the system default JRE or the one, which came with denodo works: ERROR StatusLogger Unrecognized conversion specifier [d] starting at position 16 in conversion pattern. Could not initialize class sun.util.locale.provider.LocaleProviderAdapter

Hi, As mentioned in [Supported Operating Systems](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/platform/installation/preinstallation_tasks/software_requirements/software_requirements#supported-operating-systems), the Denodo Platform is supported for Windows and Linux operating systems. But in this scenario, as you are installing the Denodo Platform on an operating system that is not Windows nor Linux, ensure that you install a JRE compatible with this operating system as detailed in [Supported Java Runtime Environments (JRE)](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/platform/installation/appendix/supported_java_runtime_environments/supported_java_runtime_environments). Additionally, if you still need help and if you are a valid Support User, you may open a **Support Case** at the [Denodo Support Site](https://support.denodo.com/) and the Support Team will help you.
