Denodo and Dremio are different types of software, with different focus: * Dremio is a data lake engine, focused on efficiently processing data on the data lake, espcially Parquet files with Arrow. It's competitiors are tools like Presto, Athena, Spark, etc. * Denodo is a data virtualization layer, focused on providing an abstraction layer baove a variety of sources, so that the complexity of the underlying infrastructure is hidden from the consumers. Denodo focus is on semantic modeling and multi-source query execution Although there are some areas of overlap, the goal of the tools is very different. You can do some modeling with Dremio and run queries with some additional sources, but the capabiulities of Denodo are far superior in that area. On the other hand, Dremio is a very good engine to execute queries on a data lake based on Parquet files. Regarding the roadmap, we do not disclose it publcicly. Please contact our local sales team to have a more detailed discussion on Dendo's vision and roadmap.
