In my environment, I have a [JSON datasource](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/json_sources/json_sources) which retrieves data from the REST API and I was able to get the complete results.
If I face any issues, I would check the **vdp.log ** file under the "<DENODO_HOME>\logs\vdp" directory for any [status codes](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/vdp/administration/restful_architecture/restful_web_service/status_codes) returned by the Virtual DataPort while accessing the API.
To further analyze the root cause, I would also set the corresponding log category to 'TRACE' level by executing this command in VQL Shell like below:
`CALL LOGCONTROLLER('httpclient.wire', 'TRACE');`
Once this is executed, I would check the ‘vdp.log’ file again to find more information on the issue.
Then, I would revert the log level to ERROR:
You can take a look at the [HTTP Path](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/path_types_in_virtual_dataport/http_path) section of the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide.
Hope this helps!
