In scenarios where there are multi-value enabled columns, I would check the option "Expand Related Entities" while creating the base view. In case, if this option is checked, the references to other entities would appear directly in the main entity as [arrays or registers](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/vdp/administration/creating_derived_views/creating_flatten_views/creating_flatten_views).
