Connecting to data lake gen2 with a free trial

Would like to download The Distributed File System Custom Wrapper to connect to a data lake store gen2 in Azure. I cannot download the file from support.denodo.com as I have a trial license only. How can I get the wrapper, my trial is running out, so I want to do this ASAP. Thanks.

Hi, In order to import any type of custom extensions, you should have a full license to access the Denodo Platform which imposes that importing extensions (jars) is not allowed in Denodo express. You can look at the section [Limitations of Denodo Express](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/platform/installation/appendix/limitations_of_the_denodo_express_license/limitations_of_the_denodo_express_license#limitations-of-the-denodo-express-license). To obtain an unrestricted evaluation license for the Denodo Platform, please contact the appropriate Denodo Sales Representative for your region or organization. You can contact ‘sales@denodo.com’ or fill in a Contact Request at http://www.denodo.com/action/contact-us. Once you have obtained your evaluation license, you will be able to upgrade your Denodo Express installation by downloading and applying the latest Denodo Update from the Denodo Support Site. With this license you can download (from the Denodo Support Site), you will be able to use the full Denodo Platform including the HDFS custom wrapper for the evaluation period. Hope this helps.

Hi Team, next to the express license I hav a running trial on a VM in Azure. The trial should have the option to use some extensions, doesn't it?

For the Denodo license installation on the Azure instance you can refer to the [Denodo Platform for Azure 7.0 Free Trial BYOL Quick Start Guide](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/document/7.0/Denodo%20Platform%20for%20Azure%207.0%20Free%20Trial%20BYOL%20Quick%20Start%20Guide).
