VDP client Launch Problem in version 8

Support team, I have installed Denodo client 8 (denodo-install-vdp-client-8.0-ga-win64) using this installation file. Denod platform control center is launching after when i click on LAUNCH...Nothing is happening. I should get the user/password and URI screen but this is not comming. Also, I tried using Run as admin and i have local admin access to laptop where client is installed. -DP

Hi, If I face this issue, I would try launching the Denodo Platform by executing the **vdpadmin.bat** (for windows) under the <DENODO_HOME>/bin directory with the **administrator** privileges so that I could see the error which is causing this. Also, I would ensure the [**JAVA_HOME**](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/platform/installation/preinstallation_tasks/configuring_the_server_for_the_denodo_platform/configuring_the_server_for_the_denodo_platform#check-the-path-environment-variable-windows) environment variable is properly set to "<DENODO_HOME>/jre/bin". In case you have a separate Java installation, you could point JAVA_HOME to "<JAVA_DIRECTORY>/jre/bin" You can take a look at the [**Launching the Denodo Platform Control Center**](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/platform/installation/denodo_platform_control_center/launching_the_denodo_platform_control_center/launching_the_denodo_platform_control_center) section of the Denodo Platform Installation Guide.
