Sql0206 - column or global variable not found - JDBC TO DB2

i am calling an external procedure on db2 from denodo create view from a query. the call has exact number of parameters as the proc expects. I enter the same value on the execution panel as i entered in ibm i (where it works like a charm) but on denodo i encounter SQL0206. the parameter is a 3 character value. so how to to enter global variable value or schema name in the call to a proc as the error suggests?inth

Hi, Generally, to create a base view from calling the stored procedure in the DB2, there are two ways to achieve this. Create the base view graphically using the Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. Please refer to this community article on [JDBC Sources — Virtual DataPort Administration Guide](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/jdbc_sources/jdbc_sources#importing-stored-procedures-from-ibm-db2) for details. Also, I could create Base view from create from query option. You can follow the steps on [Creating Base Views from SQL Queries](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/jdbc_sources/jdbc_sources#creating-base-views-from-sql-queries) document to create the base view from this option. For instance, if I have a DB2 stored procedure with one OUT parameter, then I would use the following syntax `CALL schemaName.storedProcedureName(?)` If you still need help and you have a valid support user account, please open a new support case at the[ Denodo Support site](https://support.denodo.com/) so that the support team can assist you.
