How to avoid array data conversion into text format while creating base view?

I have created a data source connection with another denodo data base. That data base has view in which data are present in array form. On creating a base view from that view, the array data get converted into text form automatically. Could you tell me how to avoid this automatic conversation of array data?

Hi, I tried creating a base view from another Denodo data source (VDP) which contains an array and the array element got converted into text field which is the expected behaviour of Virtual DataPort at the moment. However, the enhancement to support creation of complex data types from VDP data sources is registered and it would be included in the future releases of Denodo Platform. In the meantime, I would suggest publishing a **REST Web Service** for the view which contains an array element in the source database and creating a **JSON Data source** in the target database by using this REST Web Service. After which you can create the base view which will consist of the related fields. You can have a look at [JSON Data Sources](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/json_sources/json_sources) and [Publishing REST Web Service](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/vdp/administration/publication_of_web_services/publishing_rest_web_services/publishing_rest_web_services) sections from the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide for more information. Hope this helps.!
