Can we use Denodo data set for full test search

Hi Team, We are doing some POC for Denodo to create DataSet from different API and databases. I am curious if Denodo provide some ways for enable **Full Text Search** on top of this dataset ? Is there a way we can use the data populated though Dataset to facilitate our user to do text search (index the data) ? It may be Apache Solr, Lucent or ELK stack

Hi, Once I have the base views created for the Data sources in the Virtual DataPort server, I would use the Data Catalog to configure a **Content Search** over the views. This Content Search will allow you to do quick searches over all the data of the databases’ views on that server. To use the Content Search over the view you can configure either **Scheduler Index **or **Elasticsearch** to create an index to search over all the data of the databases’ views. You can take a look at the [Queries](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en//vdp/data_catalog/search/queries/queries) section of the Data Catalog Guide for more information. Hope this helps!

Thanks for help, Appreciate it! Looks like we can achieve the full text search by Content Search. I need to try and give Demo to management. Is there an available example or tutorial in this?

Hi, In order to set up a Content Search in the Data Catalog, I would follow the steps in the [Content Search Configuration](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en//vdp/data_catalog/administration/search_configuration/search_configuration) section of the Data Catalog Guide to successfully configure the search feature. You could also refer to the tutorial [For Administrators only - Index data to enable Google-like user search queries of the Data Discovery](https://community.denodo.com/tutorials/browse/datadiscovery/3indexadmin) for more step-by-step instruction on how to enable Content Search. Hope this helps!
