Connecting to SQL Server using Windows Authentication with an SA Account

I have credentials for a QA SQL Sever enviroment but it requires Windows Authentication and you have to sign in as the SA account in order to access the DB. Is there a way to force this using the JDBC string? Or - do I need to do some type of authentication first using the SA account name and password? Not sure how to set this up on the data source side to connect successfully.

Hi, If you are looking to make the connection to a SQL Server database using a specific user, I am able to provide the specific Username and Password of that account when initially creating my Data Source, as described in the [JDBC Sources](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/jdbc_sources/jdbc_sources) section of the VDP Administration Guide. If you are instead intending to delegate this Authentication to Windows, I can do this by associating the Windows User starting the VDP Server with the specific account, and setting IntegratedSecurity=True to use the Windows Authentication as described in the Knowledge Base Article on [Accessing MSSQL Server using Windows Authentication](https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/Accessing%20MS%20SQL%20Server%20using%20Windows%20Authentication). Hope this helps!
