Hi, If you want to get by email the report execution of Scheduler Jobs you can configure a new mail handler for the job in the Scheduler Administration tool as explained in the “Handler Section” of the *Scheduler Administration Guide*. In case you are referring to be notified by mail of VDP log messages I would use the log4j appender features to configure an email appender that sends email messages to notify log messages. You can get information about the logging engine of the Denodo Platform in “CONFIGURING THE LOGGING ENGINE” section of the *VDP Administration Guide*. You can get information about these Log4j appenders in the [log4j documentation](https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/appenders.html). As an example you can configure an appender in <DENODO_HOME>/conf/vdp/log4j2.xml adding to the Appenders section a SMTP one like this: ``` <SMTP name="Mail" subject="Error Log" to="errors@logging.apache.org" from="test@logging.apache.org" smtpHost="localhost" smtpPort="25" bufferSize="50"> </SMTP> ``` And configure the level for this appender to be used in the Loggers section. For example, to configure this Mail appender only for error level you can use: ``` <Root level="error"> <AppenderRef ref="Mail"/> </Root> ``` Hope this helps!
