Hi, I have created an view in denodo and exposed the details as REST API. I want to query the API with JSON query. I know we can do it by dynamic URI parameters. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hello, Here is an example of executing a select statement using parameters in the web service URL where the view name in Denodo is sales: http://...ws_sales/views/sales?$fieldName1=value1&...&fieldNameN=valueN&$format=JSON You can find more information in this community question "URL REST PARAMETER": https://community.denodo.com/answers/question/details?questionId=90670000000CctbAAC&title=URL+REST+PARAMETER You can find the most detailed information in the VDP Adminitration Guide in the section "Parameters of the RESTful Web service" Hope this helps!

Hi, Your request sounds very similar to using the 'GET' HTTP method with a JSON request body, which is something you cannot do. You have to use the URL parameters for a 'GET' request. To add a JSON request body you need to use the POST or PUT method but these are interpreted as an insert or update in a rest web service. Hope this helps!

Got it, is there a way we can accept an request to have JSON body in any form or service? Secondly I have to use "2016-02-02T00:00:00+0000" this format for my date in URI parameter, How can I just use "2016-02-02" only the date when passing the parameters? Appreciate your response's. Thanks
