Connection often timeout

we have to use denodo connect the oracle db to retrieve some data. but recently, we find the connection often occur timeout. we checked the interaction between 2 servers and it's ok. sometimes, i open a admin tool to run some sql demo in the denodo server when i firstly open the denodo admin tool, the sql run normally, but if i stay away for a while, then back, i try to run the SQL again, it will be timeout. and our web application will be timeout too

Hi! I would check the proxy configuration as it seems it is blocking the active connection. You can also check in the Oracle data source configuration that a* Ping Query* is configured and the *Test connection* option is checked opening the Connection Pool configuration dialog as explained in *“JDBC Sources”* section of the *VDP Administration Guide*.
