User wanted to connect to a derived view from Alteryx, So I have provided connect privilege for the respective database and read privilege to the derived view.
Now the user is able to access the derived view from SQL editor in Alteryx but not able to view the derived view in the right side navigation panel in the Visual Query Builder window in Alteryx.
To resolve that I have provided read access to a base view to that user and after that I can see the base view and the derived view to which the user has read access in the right side navigation panel
in the Visual Query Builder window in Alteryx. The base view to which I have provided read access to the user is not related to the respective derived view to which I have granted read access initially.
this is just a random base view which is present in the same database in some other folder connected to some other data source.
I have not provided read access to the whole database for that user. Just I have provided connect access to the database and then read access to few derived views and read access to one base view
(the base view is in the same database belongs some other folder and other data source not related to the derived views in anyway).
This behaviour seems to be unusual from denodo access perspective. Can you please more clarity on this matter and let me know how this works and if this is expected ?
