Permissions to allow user to create/delete VDB

We have a development environment where we would like to give developers the permissions to create virtual databases as they want without giving them SysAdmin to the server level configurations. Can someone give guidance on this scenario.

Hello, Denodo distinguishes two types of users: Administrators and Normal users. Only Administrators can create, modify and delete databases. Normal users cannot create or delete databases, therefore you would not be able to give developers such permissions without granting them server admin privileges. A recommendation I could give would be to have the administrators create individual sandbox databases for each developer and provide each developer admin privileges over those sandbox databases. For more information on User and Roles in Denodo, I suggest you read Denodo’s documentation on [Users](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/administration/databases_users_and_access_rights_in_virtual_dataport/user_and_access_right_in_virtual_dataport/user_and_access_right_in_virtual_dataport#users). Hope this helps!
