Hi, I would be able to rename a created web service via the **Server Explore**r of Design Studio or Virtual DataPort Administration Tool as below: * In Virtual DataPort Administration Tool, right-click on the web service from the server explorer and click on the **Rename** option to rename the web service. * In the server explorer of the design studio, hover the mouse over the web service, and a three dots button will show up on the right side of the element. Click on that button to open the contextual menu and click on the **Rename** option to rename the web service. Sorry, I don't know what Design Studio is. In VDP Admin there is no option to rename a REST web service when right clickin on it. If it were that easy, I would not have asked. Is there any way?

Hi, The option to [rename](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/platform/new_features/new_features_virtual_dataport#rename-elements) the data sources, JMS listeners, and web services (SOAP and REST) from the server explorer is available from the Denodo 8.0. In earlier versions of Denodo, in order to rename the web service, I would export the VQL of the web service and edit it by renaming the web service and then import the modified VQL. Hope this helps!
