How to - Store encrypted VCS user's password in vdp config?

Hi, Is there a way to encrypt a VCS user's password before storing them in the **$DENODO_HOME/conf/vdp/VDBConfiguration.properties**? I can see that there is a configuration setting of storing encrypted password in the config file **com.denodo.vdb.vdbinterface.server.vcs.VCSConfigurationManager.encryptedPassword**. However, quesstion then is how do we encrypt the password. Is it via this script in **$DENODO_HOME/bin/encrypt_password.sh** and if not where can I find how to do this? Any help is really appreciated! Regards V

Hi, Probably it is encrypted automatically when you configure the VCS Management in Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. I tried it and checked VDBConfiguration.properties, com.denodo.vdb.vdbinterface.server.vcs.VCSConfigurationManager.encryptedPassword was configured true and com.denodo.vdb.vdbinterface.server.vcs.VCSConfigurationManager.password was encrypted. Hope this helps!
