Hi, In order to use Denodo on a Mac OS, I would follow the steps below to accomplish this: * You could download the **Generic (non-JRE)** version of the Denodo 8.0 installer from the Support site. * Then install Java 11 JDK since this is the [Java version](https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/Java%20versions%20supported%20by%20the%20Denodo%20Platform) supported by Denodo Platform 8.0 as well as the version of the internal JVM. * Set up the JAVA_HOME and PATH variables. * Run **“install.sh”** after performing the above-mentioned steps. * Once the installation is complete, run the "**vqlserver_startup.sh**" which is located under **"<DENODO_HOME>/bin"** to start the Virtual DataPort Server. Please note that the Denodo Control Center links to launch the apps do not work on Mac OS, so you should use the shell scripts in the **"<DENODO_HOME>/bin"** directory to start and stop the Denodo Server and launch the Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. You could refer to the section [**Software Requirements**](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/platform/installation/preinstallation_tasks/software_requirements/software_requirements#) of the **Denodo Platform Installation Guide** for more information. Hope this helps!
