Denodo Code of Conduct

Introduction

This Code of Conduct is designed to deter wrongdoing and to promote:

  • ethical conduct and compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations;
  • the prompt internal reporting of violations of this Code as set forth in this Code;
  • honest and ethical conduct, including the ethical handling of actual or apparent conflicts of interest;
  • a culture of honesty and accountability; and
  • the deterrence of wrongdoing.

This code of conduct applies to all spaces the Denodo Community manages, including public and private mailing lists, issue trackers, wikis, blogs, social media, and any other communication channels our user community uses.

This Code serves as a guide, and the Denodo Community expects all members to use their own judgment at all times to follow the high ethical standards to which the Company is committed. We expect everyone who participates in the Denodo community formally or informally, or claims any affiliation with the Denodo Community to honor this code of conduct.

This code is not exhaustive or complete. It distills our common understanding of a collaborative, shared environment and goals. We expect all members of the Denodo community to follow it in spirit as much as in the letter, so that it can enrich all of us and the technical communities in which we participate.

Our Pledge

In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Our Responsibilities

We are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

We have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies both within private spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the Denodo Community. Examples of representing the Community include using an official e-mail address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event. Representation of the Community may be further defined and clarified by Denodo.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the code of conduct team at https://www.denodo.com/en/contact-us. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. The code of conduct team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident. Further details of specific enforcement policies may be posted separately.
