What Is New in Denodo 6.0 Update 20201123¶

Enhancements that Apply to All Modules

• Added support for exporting the metadata and settings of the Denodo Platform, to be imported into Denodo 8.0. In previous versions, you could not upgrade skipping a major version; with this update, you can upgrade from Denodo 6.0 directly to 8.0 without going through 7.0.

  Important

  To transfer the metadata and settings to the new version, follow the steps of the Upgrade Guide 8.0; if you simply export the metadata and import it into 8.0, you will run into errors.
