Views¶

The “Views” tab shows the views of the selected database. A view will not be listed if the user does not have the privileges required to see it.

By default, this tab shows the views organized in folders, as it would be in the Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. By disabling the Folder View check, they are just listed. You can see the difference between both styles of visualization in Folder view vs. list view.

Both the list and the folders view can be filtered by a text contained in the database name or in the database description (it does not search in the field names of the views).

When clicking on a view, the tool will display these tabs:

• Summary: see section Summary of Views.

• Query: see section Query.

• Associations: see section Associations.

• Lineage: see section Lineage of Views.

• Search: see section Search.
