public final class ConfigurationManager

By default a properties file named "scheduler.properties" is loaded from the classpath. If the user wish to use a file other than this default he must define the system property 'scheduler.conf' to point to the file he wants.

getParameter

public static String getParameter(String name)

Provides a configuration value as a String. The method will throw an IllegalArgumentException if an error occurs while retrieveing the property or if the property does not exist.

Parameters:

name - the name of the parameter to retrieve.

Returns:

the parameter value as a String.

Throws:

IllegalArgumentException - if an error occurs retrieving the property or the property does not exist.
