VCS Configuration

Note

The administration-related menus and dialogs are not currently available on the Design Studio but future updates will extend the current options to progressively add them.

To begin using the Version Control System integration (VCS), you have to do the following:

  1. Enable the VCS integration in the Server: see section Virtual DataPort Server Configuration.

  2. Define at least one environment: see section Environment Management.

  3. Configure an existing database to check it in a VCS server (see section Database Configuration) or import a Virtual DataPort database created by another user, from the VCS server (see section Importing an Existing Database from a VCS Server)
