getCorePoolSize

public int getCorePoolSize()

Obtains the core number of threads.

Returns:

the corePoolSize

setCorePoolSize

public void setCorePoolSize(int corePoolSize)

Sets the core number of threads. By setting corePoolSize and maxPoolSize the same, you create a fixed-size thread pool.

Parameters:

corePoolSize - the corePoolSize to set

getMaxPoolSize

public int getMaxPoolSize()

Obtains the maximum allowed number of threads.

Returns:

the maxPoolSize

setMaxPoolSize

public void setMaxPoolSize(int maxPoolSize)

Sets the maximum allowed number of threads. By setting corePoolSize and maxPoolSize the same, you create a fixed-size thread pool. By setting maxPoolSize to an essentially unbounded value such as Integer.MAX_VALUE, it allows the pool to accommodate an arbitrary number of concurrent tasks.

Parameters:

maxPoolSize - the maxPoolSize to set

getKeepAliveTime

public long getKeepAliveTime()

Returns the thread keep-alive time (in milliseconds), which is the amount of time which threads in excess of the core pool size may remain idle before being terminated.

Returns:

the keepAliveTime

setKeepAliveTime

public void setKeepAliveTime(long keepAliveTime)

Sets the time limit (in milliseconds) for which threads may remain idle before being terminated. If there are more than the core number of threads currently in the pool, after waiting this amount of time without processing a task, excess threads will be terminated.

Parameters:

keepAliveTime - the keepAliveTime to set

getMaxTasks

public int getMaxTasks()

Obtains the maximum allowed number of tasks.

Returns:

the getMaxTasks

setMaxTasks

public void setMaxTasks(int maxTasks)

Sets the maximum allowed number of tasks.

Parameters:

maxTasks - the maxTasks to set

hashCode

public int hashCode()

Returns the hash code of an instance of this class. The resulting hash code is the sum of the name and value hash codes.

equals

public boolean equals(java.lang.Object object)
