Elements Management¶

In the Elements management page you have a list of all the databases, views and web services that have been synchronized with the Virtual DataPort server.

To filter the list of synchronized elements proceed as follows:

1. Select the type of element to filter between Views, Web services and Databases.

2. Enter search terms for the name and/or search terms for the description.

3. In case you are searching for views or web services, you will be able to add more filtering options: Collaboration, Databases, Categories and Tags. They are similar to the ones explained in the search by metadata.

4. Click the Apply filters button to launch the search.

In the search results, click the name of an element to access its details page. From there you can modify the element as follows:

• Edit the description of a database.

• Edit the description of a view and its fields.

• Edit the description of a web service and its fields.

• Change the value of the custom properties assigned to a database, view or web service.
