Summary of Databases¶

The Summary pill contains all the basic information about the current database.

This information consists of:

• A description about the database. At first, it is obtained from Virtual DataPort. However, if you have the proper permissions, you will see a icon next to the description. Click it and define a new description, which will be specific to the Data Marketplace.

  

  The Data Marketplace can have its own description for a database, in plain text or HTML¶

In addition, an administrator of the Data Marketplace can add custom properties to the database to improve the information you have about it. According to the configuration, they will appear inside a new section of the Summary pill or in a new pill. Again, if you have the proper permissions, you will see a icon to edit them.
