SCIM Configuration for Entra ID

This section explains how to configure SCIM provisioning using Entra ID.

Note

Before configuring SCIM provisioning with Entra ID, you must configure Entra ID as the IdP for your Agora organization.

To create a Microsoft Entra ID application:

  1. Log in to the Azure portal as an administrator.

  2. Navigate to the Microsoft Entra ID > Enterprise Applications.

  3. Click on Create your own application.

  4. Enter the application name.

  5. Click on Provisioning > Connect your application.

    • In Tenant URL, enter the the SCIM API Base URL copied from SCIM settings in Agora.

    • In Secret token paste the SCIM token copied from SCIM settings in Agora.

  6. Test connection, if the connection was successful click on Create

  7. Click on Provisioning > Manage.

    • Enable Provisioning Status to On and click Save to start provisioning.

Users and groups assigned to the SCIM application will be provisioned automatically to the Agora organization. Note that Okta groups will be provisioned as roles in Agora, and these will be automatically assigned to the provisioned users.

  1. Go to Manage > Users and groups.

    • Click on Add user/group button, select the users and groups to be assigned, and click the Assign button.
