Other Uses of the Denodo Lakehouse Accelerator (deprecated)¶
Denodo has customized Presto to behave as the Denodo Platform’s embedded Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) to accelerate queries, that is, the Denodo Lakehouse Accelerator.
This feature requires the Denodo subscription bundle Enterprise Plus. If you do not have this Denodo subscription you can also deploy the Denodo Lakehouse Accelerator and connect to it from Denodo, using a standard JDBC data source, not the Denodo Lakehouse Accelerator data source, but without benefiting from Denodo’s optimization capabilities.

This functionality is deprecated and it is no longer recommended to connect to the Denodo Lakehouse Accelerator using a standard JDBC data source. It may no longer be considered a supported scenario in the next major release.
