Other Uses of the Denodo Embedded MPP (deprecated)¶
Denodo has customized Presto to behave as the Denodo Platform’s embedded Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) to accelerate queries, that is, the Denodo Embedded MPP.
This feature requires the Denodo subscription bundle Enterprise Plus. If you do not have this Denodo subscription you can also deploy the Denodo Embedded MPP and connect to it from Denodo, using a standard JDBC data source, not the Embedded MPP data source, but without benefiting from Denodo’s optimization capabilities.
Note
This functionality is deprecated and it is no longer recommended to connect to the Embedded MPP using a standard JDBC data source. It may no longer be considered a supported scenario in the next major release.
