Pre-Installation Tasks¶
The following subsections describe the tasks that you must complete before installing the Denodo Platform:
If there is already an installation of the Denodo Platform version 9 and/or Solution Manager version 9 in your organization, copy these two files from one of the existing installations to the computer in which you are going to do this installation.
<OTHER_DENODO_HOME>/conf/denodo-key.keystore<OTHER_DENODO_HOME>/conf/denodo-keystore.json
You will use them later in the first post-installation task (Replicate the Encryption Key Across All the Installations).
Verify the hardware requirements.

Important
This document explains how to install the Denodo Platform. We recommend installing the Solution Manager and License Manager first. Although you can complete this installation, the Denodo servers will not start if they cannot connect to the License Manager to acquire a license.
If you are installing Denodo Express, continue with the installation; Denodo Express does not require the License Manager.
