Sometimes after deploying a Denodo Platform web service you can experience problems when connecting to the service. After reviewing the VDP logs you can find these kind of errors depending on the Denodo version used:
- Error opening new session: The username or password is incorrect
com.denodo.vdb.security.exception.AuthenticationException: The username or password is incorrect
- Error connecting with VDP
com.denodo.vdb.vdbinterface.common.connection.VDBConnectionException: authentication error: Invalid password
- Error while processing request InvokeRequest: com.denodo.vdb.vdbinterface.common.VDBServerException: The username or password is incorrect
This error happens if the password of the user used to deploy the web services has changed. In general when the credentials entered are invalid for a web service, the below error will show up from a web browser:
To solve it, you need to redeploy the web services published with that username and the new password..
