This course covers the usual operations performed by a Denodo Administrator like creation of virtual databases, user management and auditing, configuration of Denodo servers, etc.
Note:This course uses Denodo 9. If you work with Denodo 8.0, you might be interested in the course Denodo Operations Management.
This course has been updated with the Denodo Platform 9.0.

- Creating Environments in Solution Manager: Learn to define and manage enterprise infrastructure within Solution Manager, configure Denodo Global Licenses, and provision environments using both Standard and Automated Cloud modes.
- JVM Configuration: Select the optimal Java Virtual Machine (JVM) for the Denodo Platform and modify memory allocation and operational parameters to optimize system performance.
- Denodo Platform Configuration: Configure the core Virtual DataPort server, covering connectivity, global security, REST web services, i18n/charset options, log configurations, web container applications, resource importing, and the Denodo Assistant.

Instructor-Led Public/Virtual classes:
- Students will receive an electronic copy of the presentations used during the training.
- Each student will receive a 1-month Denodo Platform training license (full capability).
- Each student will have access to a pre-created Denodo Platform environment in the cloud to complete the labs of the course.
- On-demand classes:
- Students have to use a local environment for doing the labs. It is recommended using the Denodo Community Lab Environment for creating the local environment.
- A Denodo Platform license is required. Denodo Express can be used for doing the labs (with some limitations).

At your own pace:
- At on-demand training: On-demand training is complimentary to Denodo customers and partners and anyone with a corporate or educational email address. Personal email addresses are not supported.
Cancellation policies
- Instructor-Led Public/Virtual classes:
- Requests for cancellations or date transfers need to be received by Denodo at least ten (10) business days prior to the course start date in order to receive a full refund. If cancellation or reschedule requests are received less than ten (10) business days before the course start date, the penalty of 100% of the cost of the course will be applied, resulting in no amount of the fee being refunded. There will be no penalty for requesting a reschedule more than ten (10) business days prior to the course start date. Denodo reserves the right to cancel courses for any reason up to five (5) business days prior to the course start date.
- In the event that a course is canceled, Denodo will secure a future course date or refund the fee in full. It is recommended that you do not make any travel arrangements until the class is confirmed.
