This course provides in-depth knowledge of all activities required to install Denodo Platform. Highlights of these activities are: Installing and configuring the Denodo Platform and Updating best practices.

• Installation Overview: Get a high-level overview of the entire Denodo installation lifecycle and understand the core components required for deployment.
• Download Denodo Software and Licenses: Learn how to acquire the necessary installation files and licenses for on-premise deployments, cloud environments, and the free Denodo Express edition.
• Installing Solution Manager: Master the pre-installation requirements and step-by-step configuration of the Solution Manager using graphical, command-line, unattended, or containerized methods, along with key cloud and post-installation considerations.
• Installing Denodo Platform: Walk through the complete setup of the Denodo Platform, covering pre-installation tasks, cloud-specific factors, post-installation checks, and automated, graphical, command-line, or container-based deployment strategies.
• Installing Denodo Lakehouse Accelerator: Learn how to properly plan, configure, and execute the deployment of the Denodo Lakehouse Accelerator following industry best practices.
• Denodo Installation: Folder Distribution: Explore the underlying file system to understand the directory structure and layout of a standard Denodo installation.
• Denodo Control Center: Familiarize yourself with the management interfaces of both the Denodo Platform Control Center and the Solution Manager Control Center.
• Starting Denodo Servers and Tools: Discover how to launch and verify Solution Manager components and Denodo Platform servers through practical, real-world demonstrations.
• Updating Solution Manager and Denodo Platform: Learn to apply software updates automatically or manually via graphical and command-line interfaces, and review critical post-update recommendations for standard and containerized environments.

Training resources

• Instructor-Led Public/Virtual classes:
  • Students will receive an electronic copy of the presentations used during the training.
  • Each student will receive a 1-month Denodo Platform training license (full capability).
  • Each student will have access to a pre-created Denodo Platform environment in the cloud to complete the labs of the course.

• On-demand classes:
  • Students have to use a local environment for doing the labs. It is recommended using the Denodo Community Lab Environment for creating the local environment.
  • A Denodo Platform license is required. Denodo Express can be used for doing the labs (with some limitations).

Price

At your own pace:

• At on-demand training: On-demand training is complimentary to Denodo customers and partners and anyone with a corporate or educational email address. Personal email addresses are not supported.

Cancellation policies

• Instructor-Led Public/Virtual classes:
  • Requests for cancellations or date transfers need to be received by Denodo at least ten (10) business days prior to the course start date in order to receive a full refund. If cancellation or reschedule requests are received less than ten (10) business days before the course start date, the penalty of 100% of the cost of the course will be applied, resulting in no amount of the fee being refunded. There will be no penalty for requesting a reschedule more than ten (10) business days prior to the course start date. Denodo reserves the right to cancel courses for any reason up to five (5) business days prior to the course start date.
  • In the event that a course is canceled, Denodo will secure a future course date or refund the fee in full. It is recommended that you do not make any travel arrangements until the class is confirmed.
