To register for an On-demand course:

• You must be registered on the Denodo Community site by using a corporate email address. Personal email addresses like “@gmail”, “@hotmail.com”... are not allowed to register on Denodo On-demand training courses.
• You can navigate to the Course Catalog page, access the details page of the selected On-demand course and click on the “Register” button.

When registration is complete, you will receive an email with all the necessary information about the On-demand course.

You can find the prerequisites for the On-demand course on the Details page of each course. The prerequisites for an On-demand course are the same as those for a regular course.

Yes. If you don’t have one, an account will be automatically created for you during the registration process and the information related to the generated account will be included in the welcome email.

If you have already created a Denodo Community account, you can click this link to easily reset your password.

You will have access to the on-demand course for twelve weeks from your registration date. If you need more time, simply re-register for the course. Your access will be extended, and your progress will be saved.

Completion of Denodo On-demand Training course work is achieved when you view each video within all modules of the course, complete the labs, and pass any included quizzes.

Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion once you meet all the requirements. These include:

• Finishing all course content.
• Completing the feedback survey.

Once done, you can find your certificate in the Achievements section of the LMS.

Note: For Denodo 8.0 training courses, certificates are sent via email at the beginning of each month.

You will find different contents depending on the module:

• An introduction with a description of the module.
• A video with an explanation of the module.
• Labs related to the video lecture.
• A lab-related question to check your results.
• A quiz to check your knowledge.

You must watch the entire video to mark it as “complete”.

Yes, you can pause the video and resume it later. The video will continue where you have paused it.

No, course videos cannot be downloaded for offline viewing. You must stream the entire video directly within the On-demand course platform to mark it as “Complete”.

You can download the slides used for the course in PDF format by clicking on the “Download course contents” or “Additional References” links, which you will find on the LMS course details page.

If your On-demand course includes practical exercises, all the necessary information and resources to get started are located in the “Setting up your Denodo Training environment” section within the course contents.

Click on the "X Exit" link located at the top-right of a module to return to the main page of a course.

Yes, all the courses have a course test. You can use the course test to probe your knowledge after completing the course.

No, the final course test is not mandatory to consider the course as complete.

You have up to three attempts to complete the course tests.

You can leave or close the course test once initiated, but the course test timer won’t be stopped.

• When you want to return to an initiated course test, click the “Continue” button to avoid losing an attempt.
• If you click “Start Over” you will lose one attempt and your progress in the course test will be reset.

Yes, you will have access to the course after completing the course test. As the course will be set as completed, please note it will be shown in the “Course Library” page instead of under the “Courses to do” section.

By default, all training courses and their contents are delivered in English. However, depending on the course, you can easily activate subtitles or switch the video audio to alternative languages.

To see the exact language options and subtitles included for any given course, please check the course details page in the Denodo Community training catalog at https://community.denodo.com/training/catalog. You will find this information under the “Language” section of each course page.

Our external video provider includes standard controls to customize your viewing experience:

• To change the audio language: Click on the gear icon (Settings) in the bottom right corner of the video player and select “Audio”.
• To activate subtitles: Click on the gear icon (Settings) and select “CC/Subtitles” to choose your preferred language.

To guarantee an uninterrupted learning experience, the platform may automatically load an alternative video player. This can happen due to temporary technical issues with our primary video provider, based on regional network configurations or local access policies.

If this alternative player loads for you, please note that the controls and language settings work a bit differently due to technical specifications:

• Audio Language: The video audio defaults to English.
• Subtitles: You can enable subtitles by clicking directly on the “CC” button on the video control bar.

Special Exception for Chinese Audio: If you require Chinese audio on this player, please ensure your web browser’s preferred language is set to Chinese. The player will automatically detect your browser settings and stream the audio in Chinese. For all other browser language settings, the audio will remain in English.

Yes, you need a free Denodo Developer license, which is valid for one year and can be renewed online annually. You can find the license at the following URL: https://community.denodo.com/denodo-platform-developer-tier/download.

Depending on the On-demand course, you may have to install additional software like a database to do the included laboratories. You will find more information about the necessary software needed, alternatives for the software and configuration scripts on the details of the laboratories included on each On-demand course.

All lecture videos have native language closed-caption subtitles.

Our courses are created and managed in Articulate and Litmos. Both tools have the following accessibility FAQs:
